GUIDED TOURS TO THE MUSEUM

Marmolada has really a lot to offer: sport, nature, and culture. For this reason, Marmolada’s Museum of the Great War at 3000 m is organising also for the next Summer season the guided tours at its exhibition. A unique experience to understand through the tale of experienced guides the life of soldiers at high altitude in the Dolomites during WWI. Compulsory reservation at +39 334 6794461

DOLOMITES UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE. GEOLOGICAL PHENOMENA AND HUMAN
LANDSCAPES

The Dolomites, extraordinary mountains, protagonists of an exhibition in Serauta’s cable car station. Marmolada, the Queen of the Dolomites, is hosting this exhibition, created by UNESCO Dolomites Foundation, financed thanks to Fondo Comuni Confinanti (Neighbour Municipalities Fund) and promoted within the scope of the activities of the Network of Education and Scientific Research coordinated by the Autonomous Province of Trento through Tsm|Scuola for the Government of the Territory and Landscape.

TREKKING IN TUNNELS WITH QUALIFIED MOUNTAIN GUIDE

Marmolada offers multiple opportunities of trekking. Every Friday, on previous reservation, a qualified alpine guide will take you on a hike among trenches and tunnels in the Sacred Historic Area of Punta Serauta and Forcella a V. Practical info: +39 347 2456597. Reservation: +39 334 6794461.

28th July 2024 – Sacred Historical Area 

MARMOLADA. HONOURS AT HIGH ALTITUDE

The Fanfara Congedati Brigata Alpina Cadore will climb Marmolada to honour the memory of those who fell on the Dolomites’ peaks. An event of huge impact and performance of well-known mountain songs.

3rd August 2024 – Sacred Historical Area 

WALKING INTO HISTORY

A walk that will bring you 100 years back into history. With the help of experienced historical reenactors, we will enrich the tale of WWI on Marmolada, making it livelier than ever both inside Marmolada’s Great War Museum, and in the tunnels and trenches of the Sacred Historical Area.

3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th August 2024 – Bar Funivia in Malga Ciapela

APRES-TREKKING

Are you missing the Winter après-ski on the ski slopes? Marmolada has the solution for you with its après-trekking. Four evenings during which Bar Funivia in Malga Ciapela closes later to let you relax on its terrace with a tasty cocktail in your hand, enjoying the beauty of the Dolomites’ Queen.

18th August 2024 – Punta Rocca

SUNSET AT 3.265 M

The sun slowly hides behind Marmolada’s peak, Punta Penia, the incredible show of “enrosadira”, and an aperitif to be enjoyed at high altitude. This is the picture that you will not only be able to admire, but also to experience with us on Sunday, 18th August, on the occasion of a very special aperi-sunset. 26th August 2024 – Punta Rocca

HOLY MASS

Traditional Holy Mass at 10.30 am to remember the visit of Pope John Paul II, celebrated inside the cave of the Holy Mary, Queen of the Dolomites, in Punta Rocca’s station.
