Marmolada – Move To The Top & Museo Marmolada Grande Guerra 3000 m

GUIDED TOURS TO THE MUSEUM OF THE GREAT WAR

During Summer 2022, the free guided tour to the Museum of the Great War will be back. The tour will be organised every day at 2 pm on previous reservation and it will be included in the ticket of the cable car. For more information and reservation: +39 334 6794461.

APRÈS-TREKKING

Are you missing the Winter après-ski on the ski slopes? Marmolada will answer to your needs with its après-trekking. Four evenings during which Bar Funivia in Malga Ciapela will delay its closing time to let you relax on its terrace, enjoying the last rays of the sun, the beauty of the Queen of the Dolomites, having a drink in the open air, after a day spent walking in the Dolomites.

“ANTS AT HIGH ALTITUDE” – THE FUNNY ANTS DRAWN BY FABIO VETTORI CLIMB MARMOLADA

A temporary exhibition that will make you discover the amazing canvas painted by Fabio Vettori and inhabited by the cute family of his famous ants, which on this occasion will climb at 3000 m of altitude. An exhibition suitable for every visitor of Marmolada, but particularly for the youngest, who can challenge their parents and grandparents to discover every single detail of the gorgeous drawings made by this important author of the Dolomites.

“ANTS AT HIGH ALTITUDE” – DRAWING LAB

Learn how to draw Fabio Vettori’s ants with Fabio Vettori. On the occasion of the inauguration of his exhibition, Fabio will teach to all the young guests how to draw his famous ants, which after having travelled all around the world have arrived now also on Marmolada. The lab is open to all kids and teens and booking is highly recommended at +39 334 6794461.

From the 5th to the 26th August 2022 – Every Friday – Punta Rocca

YOGA ON THE DOLOMITES’ QUEEN

Every Friday, for the whole month of August, take the chance to participate to a yoga class on the panorama terrace of Punta Rocca’s station. Welcoming the sun has never been so thrilling as at 3.265 m. Once the lesson is over, you will be able to enjoy a refreshing breakfast in Serauta’s restaurant.

DIVE INTO HISTORY – WWI AT 3000 M

Dive into history, going back in time for 100 years since. With the help of some reenactors, we will enrich the tale of WWI on Marmolada, making it more alive than ever both in the Museum of the Great War and among the tunnels and walkways of Serauta’s Sacred Historical Area.

The whole day, Mr Egidio Petri will be live sculpting a special work about Marmolada, the Dolomites’ Queen. The artist will be working to his sculpture approximately from 10 am to 4 pm.

26th August – Punta Rocca

HOLY MASS TO REMEMBER THE VISIT OF POPE JOHN PAUL II

Traditional Holy Mass at 10.30 am in the cave of the Holy Mary, Queen of the Dolomites, in Punta Rocca’s station to remember the visit of Pope John Paul II.

2nd September 2022 – Serauta

APERI-SUNSET ON THE DOLOMITES’ QUEEN

The aperi-sunset on the Dolomites’ Queen is the perfect event for all the lovers of the Dolomites and of “enrosadira”, that magical phenomenon that happens only at sunset, when the sunrays set on fire dolomite rock with their colours. After the aperitif, all participants will have the opportunity to admire, on Punta Rocca’s panorama terrace, at 3.265 m, the sun going down behind Punta Penia, Marmolada’s highest peak.
